Over the last 10 years we have had countless people ask us if we could teach them the basics of using their DSLR cameras. They often say to us, we just bought this awesome camera but have no idea how to use it, it is way more complicated than we anticipated! We totally understand and we felt the same way 12 years ago when we both held our first DSLR cameras.

Today our livelihoods depend on our cameras as we run our own successful photography business and have shot well over 500 weddings and lifestyle sessions. We love what we do and we love sharing the gift of photography with others. 

THIS IS FOR YOU IF...

In this course you will gain photography skills to take better pictures while learning about the operation of a digital camera. The course will cover the essentials of photography and will teach you to improve your techniques to enhance family, vacation, and nature images as well as boost creativity. We will focus on manual camera operation, metering, exposure, depth of field, shutter speed, and composition.

The workshop teaches fundamental skills of digital photography, including ISO, aperture, shutter speed, and how to use the various buttons and dials on the camera. 

After this, you will learn tactics for how to create interesting and well-composed photographs. 

Finally, you get the chance to practice what you learned — with us around for guidance and to help answer any questions.
